1. Coordinate Delivery
Designate a clear path to the site for the delivery truck. If you are not immediately installing the equipment, determine a secure storage site with sufficient space to protect your investment. All of our equipment is shipped via dedicated truck and will be either enclosed box van or flatbed. You will need to arrange for a forklift with extended forks to be on-site at the time of delivery.
2. Receiving the Shipment
When your equipment delivers compare the packing slip with the containers shipped to verify the address and ordering information are correct. Make sure the proper number of parts have arrived per the packing information. Check each container label against the Bill of Lading provided by the shipping company to ensure that you have received the number of items noted on the shipping documents. Be certain to check crated and uncrated items that are labeled as they count towards the total number of items. All missing parts must be reported to AquaBlue International within 48 hours of receipt of equipment.
3. Damages
Inspect and make detailed notes of any detectable damage to the equipment as a result of shipment. Take digital pictures of the damage as further supporting documentation. Once you’ve completed your inspection, sign for the delivery noting all shortages and/or damages. All damages resulting from shipment must be communicated to AquaBlue Internatonal within 48 hours of receipt of equipment.
4. Unload and Store
Unload all equipment using the forklift with extended forks. Do not attempt to unload without a forklift or other type of lifting device.
